Quinoa cups with Orange and Praline

This recipe is the perfect easy and healthy dessert that will fuel you with energy!

Prepping time:  30min
Cooking time: -
Servings: 5
Cost : 1,50€ per serving
Calories: 316 per serving
Exercise equivalent: 27min per serving

Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate (75% cocoa)
  • 4 tbsp quinoa
  • 4 oranges (medium size)
  • 2 tbsp praline with stevia

Directions

  1. Squeeze the oranges and pour the juice into a saucepan. Let the juice simmer over medium heat for 30-40 '.
  2. When the juice takes the form of a thin jam, set it aside to cool.
  3. Put a small saucepan over medium heat to warm. When it warms up, pour in quinoa and cover with a lid. Quinoa will start popping just like pop corn.
  4. Melt the chocolate in a baking pan or in the microwave. Add the quinoa and mix.
  5. In silicone molds, pour a layer of the mixture with the chocolate and the quinoa. Top with a spoonful of orange and a spoonful of praline with stevia.
  6. Cover with the remaining chocolate-quinoa mixture and refrigerate for 30 '.

Notes
  • An easy way to avoid sugary jams is to let the natural juice of a fruit simmer and shrink. Your "jam" will acquire its sweet taste without the need for any additional sweetener, as it will take its sweet taste from the natural sugars of the fruit. Be careful: Make small amounts of this fruit sauce, as they do not contain sugar (a natural preservative) and they do not last for so long.
  • If you do not want to put praline, you can use peanut butter or tahini. Your snack will be just as delicious as the original recipe!
