Angelos was born in 1993 and comes from Orei, Evia, Greece. In 2011, he was admitted to the department Nutrition and Dietetics of TEI of Thessaly in Greece. He graduated with honors and afterwards he was accepted in the postgraduate program Sports Nutrition / Dietetics and Nutritional Intervention at the University of Nicosia. Completing his postgraduate studies with honors, Angelos was awarded the title of the best postgraduate student of the program of Sports Nutrition, and also the title of best postgraduate student of the entire Faculty of Science and Engineering of the University of Nicosia.
Angelos is now a PhD candidate at the University of Nicosia, while at the same time he works as a dietitian and as a internship placement educator for the postgraduate program of Sports Nutrition of the University of Nicosia.
Has published 9 scientific articles in scientific journals, and has presented 6 from his studies as poster and 3 as oral communications at national and international conferences. He was awarded with the first prize of poster communication for his master's thesis at the 8th Conference on Biochemistry and Physiology of Exercise . His main research interests focus on the effect of diet on sleep architecture and physical performance, in order to restore physiological body parameters after exposure to conditions that induce intense stress.
