Ingredients

  • 1 packet (8g) dry yeast
  • 1 tsp (7g) sugar
  • ½ cup (80g) water
  • 7 cups (500g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp ( 20g) olive oil
  • 2 cups (100g) pumpkin puree
  • 2 zucchini
  • 1 green-pepper
  • ½ onion
  • ½ cup (70g) tomato puree
  • salt, pepper, thyme
  • 60g low fat cheese

 

Directions

  1. Place the water, the yeast and the sugar in a bowl and mix. Set aside for a few minutes to activate the yeast. Then, add the flour and pumpkin puree and knead the dough well. Add the flour and olive oil at the end. Let the dough rise for at least 30 minutes in a warm place.
  2. Cut the vegetables in slices or chopped them in thick pieces.
  3. Mix the tomato puree with thyme, salt and pepper.
  4. Divide you dough in 3 pieces, and form it as thin as you can in a bake sheet. Add the tomato puree, the vegetables and the cheese.
  5. Bake the pizza in preheated oven at 250degrees Celsius with circulating air for 10'.

Notes
  • You can substitute pumpkin puree with carrot puree or sweet potato pure. The final result will be as delicious as the original recipe.
  • If you wish to make your own pumpkin puree, you have to put chunks pumping in the oven at 200degrees Celsius for 40minutes. Then, you remove the excess water that has come from the pumpkin and finally, you blend it.
  • You may make this pizza in a vegan version, omitting the cheese or substituting it with another type of vegan cheese.
